Congratulations Nicola & Bryan!!

Congratulations Nicola & Bryan! They got married just after Christmas day, we love Christmas weddings. They are so magical. This particular wedding happened at Hartsfield Manor Hotel near Dorking. We love to be wedding photographers around Crawley but do like to travel. Having covered many weddings during the summer months at Hartsfield Manor Hotel this made a lovely change. Although a little cold the sun was bright only for a few short hours and we managed to squeeze in a few lovely images outdoors.

The new Mr & Mrs Dibben!

We’ve known Larissa since she was tiny. Barney went to school with her older brothers Billy and Sean. He has strong memories of her brothers winding her up when she was younger. We photographed her engagement and also when they had baby Charlie. It was only natural to shoot their wedding at the wonderful Wotton House, don’t they make a lovely family!

Congratulations Mr & Mrs Berkley

Barney went to school with Lisa, when she got in contact we knew we had to photograph her UK blessing. Lisa & Roland got married in Italy and wanted something special back in the UK for all their friends and family to experience with them. They had their blessing in a big church at Chiswick. A lovely church. Which followed onto a local hotel, where they had a fabulous buffet and danced the night away. Here is a little taster of the evening and how much these lovely people care for one another. Congratulations guys x x

LIVE marriage proposal

Wow when we got the phone call from Rashi, Emma nearly fell of her seat. Rahsi was looking for a photographer to cover a LIVE marriage proposal. Straight away we said yes we’d love to cover it. So the plan was set, 7am at Box Hill in Surrey. The weather forcast was great. The morning came and it was drizzling like crazy, but we did it….. or rather they did! Here is a couple of images in a montage to show you the very special moment.

Congratulations Mr & Mrs Barnes!

Barney has known Ross since birth as their mum’s are best friends. It was great to see an old friend so happy! Ross and Amy got married at East Court Meridian Hall which was our first ceremony here. A lovely room and great views afterwards across fields. From there it was onto Tulley’s Farm for the reception, except the mode of transport for the bride and groom was somewhat nontraditional. Ross Owns a skip company and the ushers and best men had decorated one of Ross’s trucks to take them to the venue. A great touch.   Tulley’s Farm lent itself extremely well for wedding photography with so many opportunities for amazing backdrops. Without showing all these magical images, here is one from after the ceremony at East Court. Congratulations guys x

Congratulations Mr & Mrs Hollands!

This was the long anticipated wedding of 2014! Barney’s known Paul since school (and would class him as one of his closest long standing friends), he’s quite a character and anyone will tell you the same. He has many talents, one of which is song writing. Corinne is a singer, they met one day in a recording studio and hit it off, the rest as they say ‘is history’. (He’s hit the jackpot with Corinne, she’s lovely). Paul’s day started a little bumpy, the cat got out of the house! So at 10am he could be seen running around calling “Monster” taping the pets food bowl. So funny, the best-men and ushers were all in hysterics. Corinne looked amazing, (as we all knew she would), she’s done a fair bit of modelling too so they were well rehearsed with all the poses)! “Bando” as Paul is better known, also loves having his picture taken, and I’ve used him myself in a few commercials for car adverts.  I think you’ll agree they both look amazing in the image below. We hope you and your gorgeous children had a lovely day and wish you all the very best for the future. x […]

Congratulations Katie & Tom

The wedding of some dear friends; Katie & Tom. With a massive marquee behind their cottage, (possibly the largest we’ve seen) stood a bouncy castle, coconut shy, candy floss and popcorn stalls. In the air was the lovely aroma of the spit roast pig, and popcorn! Hay bales surrounding us and the champagne was flowing. Kids running round having a great time and we even saw the adults on the bouncy castle showing them how it’s done. Here is a sneak peek of the happy couple having a moment to themselves.

Lara & James’ Engagement shoot

Today we traveled to Esher to capture a few images of Lara & James. This was the first time to Garson’s Farm, it’s a lovely ‘pick yourself’ farm, like the traditional places we used to go to as children. It took us back to when we used to pick Strawberries as a child. Such a romantic place for a couple to spend some some quality time together in this crazy rat race. The images show how much they enjoyed themselves. We did too!

Happy Paper Anniversary to Mr & Mrs Edwards

On the 3rd August 2013 our good friends Tom & Nicola got married at Hartsfield Manor on a hot and sunny day.   We’d like yo wish them a very happy Paper anniversary today. We hope you enjoy celebrating this day in Edinburgh Scotland.   Lots of love Barney & Emma x x x

Congratulations Gemma & Ryan Jones!

Wow what a scorcher!!   The couple and guests are still partying as I’m typing this. They had a fab day at Gyhll Manor (if a little warm), the sun was blistering, not a cloud in the sky. The ceremony took place out in the summer house, which was a first for me, beautiful surroundings with a pond on the left and flowers in bloom all around. Gemma walked down the isle with her Dad Chris and 2 young brides maids. Ryan was a little nervous but Gemma took it in her stride. The rings went on without a hitch and the knot was tied. Some fab romantics followed the ceremony in the stunning grounds, whilst everyone else tucked into canapes and champagne. Then the couple joined their guests for a short while and the group shots followed. Many drinks later and the food was served, a lovely roast dinner. The cake cutting and first dance was amazing and everyone was thoroughly enjoying themselves when I departed, I think I heard ‘Jagerbombs’ as I left. Ha ha.
