Today was always going to be a hot one… The church was packed and the couple were surrounded by family and friends, I knew it would be a good day. The weather was amazing, the party was epic. Everyone had a ball at the Wedding Redbarn in Lingfield. Infact they are still dancing as I type this. Please welcome the new Mr & Mrs Drury! Congratulations guys x

Easter weekend and the parties were going off. Most were out enjoying themselves over the 4 day hols, but a certain few still have work commitments 😉 So my shoot was a Tattoo studio and Barbers (Sidehow Tattoo Company & The Cutthroat Barber Company) celebrating at a local pub after opening a new shop front, (you can find their Facebook fan page links below). The crowd were amazing, there was live dj, band and Facebook celebrity by the name of ‘Brad’s Dad’! I even snuck in a quick selfie with the friendly chap. Here’s a couple of shots from the night, if you need an event photographer, doesn’t have to be local, we travel. Crawley, Sussex, West Sussex, East Sussex and all over the South East and even London then just drop us a line. Honestly, you’ll not find nicer people, Michael who owns Sideshow Tattoo Company and his team do the best tattoos I’ve ever witnessed! I only recently was introduced to Daniel who owns The Cuttroat Barber Company, but from what I’ve seen he’s pretty sharp with that blade! He’s also a decent fella. The Warner Twins aged 9 months

It’s time for a little post about our very own little monsters. Max & Millie have now reached 9 months and time is really flying along now. Feels like it was only yesterday that they arrived into our world. So the little milk monsters rarely get a chance in front of the camera with Barney being so busy, but he found a little slot for them just the other morning in between changing nappies and wiping food from the walls! I joke. They each have great little personalities and have their own magical ways. Max is a happy little fellow, always smiling and happy to see Barney arrive home from a busy day usually wedding photographing or after a portrait session out and about. Being a Crawley Wedding Photographer does tend to leave little time for Barney at the weekends and evenings to see the little monkeys so it’s quite special and he notices the subtle changes day to day. So the image we’ve shared is a triptic made from shots on a white background, which is our favourite look as it tends to be quite timeless. Look how much they have grown in just a few months!

Nigel & Stacy came to me for their engagement shoot today. Sun was out for a change. We had to cancel numerous times, bloody UK weather is so unpredictable. So the wedding is June so we are all hoping for similar weather, but a bit warmer ha ha. Not normally one for filters, but this works quite well. All the best to this awesome couple x

Just the 2nd day into the new year and we’ve captured our 1st wedding of the year. The rain was holding off…. just. The wedding took place up north in a town called Retford at a lovely hotel. If the weather was better it offered some amazing grounds, but we stuck to the path and created some lovely pictures anyway. Friends and family of the couple were in full swing and everyone had a fab time. Thanks for letting us be part of your big day guys x x

    Daniel & Rachel today were married at the Felbridge Hotel and Spa near East Grinstead. The weather was great, if a little chilly but the wedding party were having a great time. Daniel said he wasn’t nervous but I don’t believe him, he looked a little pasty just before the big moment 🙂

Today we had the pleasure of photographing a Baby Shower at Lingfield Park’s Marriot Hotel. A happy bunch as you’ll see with plenty of games to play and amazing food to be eaten. There was music, and drinks, tea and cake. Personally the Samosas were my favourite 😉
